Building Inclusive Cities
UN-HABITAT is a supporting partner of the Third International Conference on Women's Safety: Building Inclusive Cities, 22-24 November 2010, in New Delhi. Organized by Women in Cities International and the Indian non-governmental organization Jagori, the event brings together diverse organizations which work to promote safer cities for women, women's rights, and the prevention of violence against women in urban communities, both in the global North and South. Other conference partners include the Huairou Commission, UNIFEM and Red Mujer y Habitat de America Latina.
